This Privacy Policy explains how Offer Unpacked handles information when you use the resume, contract, comparison, salary estimate, preview, and paid report unlock features.

The service is built for employment document analysis. That means the information you provide may include personal, professional, financial, compensation, and contract details. Do not upload anything you are not comfortable sending to the service and its subprocessors for analysis.

You may provide resumes, resumes, employment contracts, offer letters, role titles, notes, target markets, currency preferences, and related document text. You may also create generated reports, saved reports, and contract comparison records.

If you purchase a paid unlock, checkout and payment information is handled by the configured payment provider, such as Stripe or Paddle. Offer Unpacked does not need to store full card numbers.

Uploaded documents may be parsed on the server to extract text. If a document is scanned or image-based, optical character recognition may be used to help read it.

Extracted text and related prompts are sent to AI model providers, including OpenAI, to generate summaries, scores, risk flags, salary context, and report text. Generated output should be reviewed carefully because automated analysis can be inaccurate or incomplete.

If you create an account, we store your username, password hash, account role, login sessions, and product usage events. Report history, saved reports, saved contract text, unlock state, and pending checkout details may also be stored in your browser using local storage, session storage, cookies, or similar technologies.

We use a first-party visitor identifier to count unique visitors, page views, sign-ins, previews, completed analyses, and purchases. Analytics events may include the page path, user or visitor identifier, event status, and product type, but not uploaded document content.

Local storage stays on the device and browser where it was created. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser, but doing so may delete saved reports or unlock state.

Information is used to provide the requested analysis, generate free previews and full reports, process paid unlocks, verify purchases, troubleshoot the service, protect against abuse, and improve reliability.

We do not sell uploaded resumes or contracts. We do not use your documents to make automated employment decisions about you.

Offer Unpacked may use OpenAI for AI analysis, Stripe or Paddle for payment processing, and hosting or infrastructure providers to run the app.

Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. Payment providers may collect billing, tax, fraud prevention, and transaction information directly during checkout.

Generated report history may be stored in your browser when you choose to save it or when the app keeps local workflow state. Account, usage, session, and purchase records may be retained on the server for service operation, security, analytics, and support.

Server-side systems and third-party providers may keep limited logs, transaction records, security records, or processing records as needed for operations, legal compliance, fraud prevention, and support.

We use reasonable technical measures for the service, but no website, AI workflow, browser storage, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

You should avoid uploading documents that contain unnecessary sensitive details, and you should redact information that is not needed for the report.

You can choose not to upload documents, stop using the service, clear local site data in your browser, or avoid saving reports locally.

Offer Unpacked is intended for adults reviewing employment-related documents. It is not intended for children.
